Directions to Gates Computer Science Building
From Highway 101 North & South
- Take the EMBARCADERO RD/OREGON EXPWY exit toward Stanford
- As you enter Stanford EMBARCADERO RD becomes GALVEZ ST
- Keep LEFT to stay on GALVEZ ST
- Turn RIGHT onto CAMPUS DR
- Turn LEFT onto PANAMA ST
- The entrance to PARKING STRUCTURE 2 (VIA ORTEGA GARAGE) will be on your LEFT
- Exit PARKING STRUCTURE 2 on VIA ORTEGA and walk towards VIA PUEBLO
- Turn RIGHT on SERRA MALL
- GATES COMPUTER SCIENCE BUILDING will be the first building on your LEFT
From Highway 280 North & South
- Take the SAND HILL RD exit
- Follow signs for SAND HILL RD EAST
- Keep RIGHT and follow signs for SAND HILL RD
- Merge onto SAND HILL RD
- Turn RIGHT onto STOCK FARM RD
- Turn LEFT onto CAMPUS DR
- Turn RIGHT onto PANAMA ST
- The entrance to PARKING STRUCTURE 2 (VIA ORTEGA GARAGE) will be on your LEFT
- Exit PARKING STRUCTURE 2 on VIA ORTEGA and walk towards VIA PUEBLO
- Turn RIGHT on SERRA MALL
- GATES COMPUTER SCIENCE BUILDING will be the first building on your LEFT
From El Camino Real
- Exit RIGHT off EL CAMINO REAL at UNIVERSITY AVE. Turn toward the hills (away from the center of Palo Alto).
- As you enter Stanford UNIVERSITY AVE becomes PALM DR
- Turn RIGHT onto CAMPUS DR
- Turn LEFT onto PANAMA ST
- The entrance to PARKING STRUCTURE 2 (VIA ORTEGA GARAGE) will be on your LEFT
- Exit PARKING STRUCTURE 2 on VIA ORTEGA and walk towards VIA PUEBLO
- Turn RIGHT on SERRA MALL
- GATES COMPUTER SCIENCE BUILDING will be the first building on your LEFT
From Caltrain
- Take CALTRAIN to the PALO ALTO STATION
- Get on MARGUERITE’S X LINE and get off at Y2E2 on VIA ORTEGA.
- Walk towards VIA PUEBLO
- Turn RIGHT on SERRA MALL
